In this action brought under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C. Ã‚Â§ 2671 et seq., plaintiff seeks monetary damages for wrongful death caused by medical malpractice. The decedent was plaintiff's husband. He died, while a member of the Air Force, after receiving dental treatment at an Army medical facility. The district court dismissed the complaint and plaintiff filed this appeal.
